The Brewer Family's Story
Brewer Cycles began hosting this charity ride way back in 1997, born out of gratitude for the help that owner, Chris Brewer's son, Tyler, received during his own battle with childhood cancer.
Tyler relied on the help and support of Duke Children's and today he remains in remission. He is thriving as the VP of Brewer Cycles beside his Dad. Chris' wife, Lisa, has also been an instrumental force in the charity rides over the years.
Over the past 18 years, this charity ride has proudly donated over $95,000 to Duke Children's Hospital. Motorcycles riders come from all over and participants number in the 300's; that is impressive for any ride but especially here in the small town of Henderson, NC.
